After I read “A
Fighter’s Desire”, I was so interested in Tyler’s character. I thought there
was so much more to his character and I had already fallen in love with him.
Tyler is all about the ‘perks’ of being an MMA fighter. He’s all about the
women throwing themselves at him. Of course there are moments where I was like “Seriously
Dude! Get your crap together!” When we first met him, we knew he was all about
Gabriella. He was torn about his feelings being that she is the little sister
to his best friend. I wouldn’t wait to see that relationship unfold in this
book, however I was so wrong.
In this book, we
meet Kacey. Kacey is kind-hearted, loyal and strong. She knows the ‘type’ of
guy she wants to stay away from, but sometimes that doesn’t always work. Her
best friend Bree is awesome and I loved the introduction to her character. She
was meddlesome, but she wasn’t over-bearing. She only wanted what was best for
Kacey. When Kacey meets Tyler, she is drawn to him but she knows that she needs
to stay away. She has he own secret that needs to stay a secret.
She knows about
Tyler’s ways and tries to brush him nicely. He starts to show another side to
himself. She starts bringing out the “MAN” in him, not the playboy that
everyone knows him to be. The only problem is the secret that she is harboring
and if Tyler would really understand why she kept it from him.
In this book, we
see the return of Gabriella, who I instantly loved, but she and Tyler have come
to terms amicably. This was a little disappointing because I thought they had
so much chemistry, however I got over it! We see the return of Ryley who I know
has more to him and I can’t wait to read his story. We see the ever hated Kyle
Andrews and what game he starts to play. We see another side the character
Paxton that I found really, really enjoyable.
In this book, you
will see betrayal, humor, romance, sarcasm, and hatred. I found it extremely
enjoyable and will definitely read it again. Everyone should take the trip into
the world of these characters. Definitely take the time out to read the first
two novellas, “A Fighter’s Desire” and then pick up “Tyler’s Undoing.” You will
not be disappointed!
