I’m happy to participating in the cover reveal for Alyssa Rose Ivy’s two books: “The Hazards of Sex On The Beach” and “On The Rocks”. The Hazards Of Sex On The Beach is a New Adult Contemporary Romance novel and is the 3rd book in the Hazards Series. The Hazards Of Sex On The Beach is set to be released on July 21st, 2014. On The Rocks is a Contemporary Romance, and it is the 2nd book in the Mixology Series. On The Rocks is due to be released on May 29th, 2014. Below you were find little blurbs, a giveaway and important links!

ABOUT The Hazards of Sex On The Beach (Hazards #3):

One broken heart, one drink too many, one steamy night in the sand...

ABOUT On The Rocks (Mixology #2):

Love is best served on the rocks.

My roommates look really good naked. At least one of them does. I’m sure the other one does too, but I haven’t seen him without his pants on. Living with two guys wasn't something I’d ever considered, but the opportunity fell in my lap, and I’d have been crazy to turn it down.

College went by in a great big blur leaving me with less of a direction than I had going in. Add in a family that wanted nothing to do with me, and my post-college plans were less than clear. What’s a girl to do when she has nowhere else to turn? She moves to the Outer Banks and learns to bartend. After all, it was my horrible bartending skills that led me to my roommate’s
bed and into his heart.

THE ONE Synopsis:

Seventeen-year-old Eveline Fallon has lived her entire life on the move—and she hates it.

Believing her to be the fulfillment of an ancient prophecy, her parents have done whatever it takes to stay one step ahead of those who wish to see her dead in order to keep the prophecy unfulfilled and the doorway between the worlds closed.

But Eveline isn’t fully convinced that her parents’ beliefs match her own. What she does believe is that Leadville, Colorado, and the sanctuary offered may be the chance she’s been waiting for.

The chance to be somewhere safe. The chance for her to make friends and have fun. The chance to finally date a guy.

The chance to be a normal girl, at least as normal as possible for someone not human.

....I felt my bed dip and sighed, “I’m getting up now.”

“I should hope so. You wouldn’t want me to be late on my first day.”

I squeaked and frantically pushed the covers from my head making a tangled mess of my hair. I shoved the hair out my face, spitting out the pieces that stuck to my lips, to glare at the figure sitting at the foot of my bed.

He grinned, “That’s an interesting look for you. What do you call it?” I brushed my hair down again and sat up trying to find my voice amidst the shock of him being in my room—of appearing in my room. “You’ve got about ten minutes before I need to pop you over to the fam so hop to it, love, and I’ll give you your reward.”

I put my hands on my hips, causing the blanket to pool in my lap. The teasing look left his eyes as he took in my shoulders, bared by the spaghetti straps of my V-neck tank. His eyes roamed over the exposed skin, each pause of his glance a visual caress. I crossed my arms, unintentionally revealing even more of myself to him, and he inhaled sharply. His eyes flashed to mine, and he searched my face.

He slid along the edge of the bed to where I had my back pressed against the wall, his gaze never leaving mine. I was effectively caged in, his body on one side of me and the arm he was leaning on placed by my opposite hip. He radiated heat into the infinitesimal gap that separated our bodies. My lips parted on a swiftly in drawn breath, and when he glanced down at them, I bit the bottom one in anticipation. Chase groaned softly, and heat flared in his eyes. Bracing a hand on the wall beside my head, he leaned in closer. With the other he cupped my face, rubbing his rough thumb over the smoothness of my cheek.

We inhaled short shallow gasps through our mouths, and he dipped his head, stopping just short of the spot I ached to have him touch. My lips tingled in anticipation.

“Why can’t I get you out my head?”

The vapor of his breath tasted sweet as I inhaled, and I waited for him to move that last excruciating millimeter.

Cover Reveal for Chelsea M. Cameron's "UnWritten"!!!

I’m very excited to give you the cover for Chelsea M. Cameron’s book, “UnWritten”! It’s such an awesome cover and I can’t wait for the book to come out! It sounds interesting and I’m looking forward to seeing what really happens. This book is expected to be released in June of 2014.

BOOK SUMMARY (Not the official blurb):

Blair Walton isn't your average tattooed children's librarian. She's also one half of bestselling romance author, Scarlet Rose. Along with her bff Raine, she spends her nights writing books so steamy, she's afraid they would shock her Southern conservative grandmother to death, if she knew about them. Blair and Raine keep their smut peddling ways a secret from everyone, including family.

On deadline for their latest book and out of ideas, Raine suggests (demands) that Blair find a guy and "do some research." It just so happens that Blair has a guy that's ready and willing. Declan Bennet has all the qualifications: He's British, looks fabulous in a suit and gets bonus points for being a single dad. But what started out as a research project quickly turns into something much more. Someone else is writing this love story and Blair has completely lost control. But will Declan still feel the same way when he finds out the truth about Blair and her secret motives?

“You’re kidding,” Raine said that night as I gave a dramatic reenactment of meeting Drake’s father that afternoon.
“Would I make something like this up?” I said, realizing too late that yes, I definitely could.
“Dude, you’re a writer. I’m a writer. We make things up for a living.” She gestured to make her point. Raine always had to gesture when she was talking. Even when her hands were full. She always had a tendency to spill things.
“Yes, good point, but still. No, I am not making this up. He was completely real. And gorgeous and that accent.” I had that tingle again just remembering.
“You’re talking about the dad, right?” It took me a second to realize what she said.
I smacked her on the arm. “Ew, pervert. Yes, the dad. I wish I could have gotten his name. If only the stupid nanny hadn’t filled out the form. Then he would have had to print his name and I would know what it is.”
“Well, another part of our job as writers is to know things. And if we don’t know them, how to find them.” She ran to her computer and started typing like a madwoman.
“No, Raine. No. We swore we would only use your powers in extreme emergencies.”
She didn’t look up at me.
“There’s a cute guy involved. That qualifies this as an emergency.”

There is something to be said for letting go. Ryland Roberts knows that better than anyone. He’d let go of his ambitions, of his family and – most of all --- of her. He’d perfected the art of putting his past behind him and accepted the fact that the town he wanted to leave in his rear view was the place where he was going to live out his days. But sometimes the past doesn't just go away. Sometimes it comes back to haunt you.

Piper Jameson convinced herself that she left for all the right reasons. She’d saved people by leaving --- made sure that they weren't tainted by her rebellious ways. When her little sister asks her to come home and say goodbye to their ailing mother, she’s forced to see that things aren't always as they seem. The people who she’d left behind might not have been saved at all.

In the amount of time it takes a bullet to travel from point A to point B, Piper and Ryland will have to put their feelings for each other aside and make a choice. Forced on the run with Piper’s sister, they begin to understand that the future they thought was gone was never really lost.

Mud Vein by Tarryn Fisher

Mud Vein
Author: Tarryn Fisher
Published: April 5th, 2014

If she wants her freedom, she has to take a close look at her past. But, her past has a heartbeat...and her kidnapper is nowhere to be found. With her survival hanging by a thread, Senna soon realizes this is a game. A dangerous one. Only the truth can set her free.

I’m not really sure how to review Mud Vein. I’m not one to turn from a dark story and this one interested me. I was very let down after finishing the story. I felt the climax was really anti-climactic and just lame. I was bored overall and I felt like I was forcing myself to read it. The writing itself is beautiful. Tarryn writes very well and I think that was what kept me reading, but this book just didn’t do it for me. The cover is absolutely gorgeous. That was what originally drew me in. Some people will really like this book, but it just fell short.

There isn’t much I can say about the book without giving away spoilers. It’s the type of book that you have to read and see for yourself. This is honestly the first book that I didn’t have much to say about. Plus as I continued reading it became more of a “Why am I still reading this?” and “Honestly…why go through all of this trouble just for that?” It didn’t make sense and eventually pissed me off. I’ll go out there and tell you to give the book a chance. Just because I didn’t care for it, doesn’t mean you won’t like it.

Picture Perfect
Author: Elisabeth Grace
Published: March 31st, 2014

Being the daughter of a big-city mayor, twenty-one year old Skye Summers has giant shoes to fill in her first real job out of college. With the public spotlight on her family, and her dad’s expectations running high, she jumps at the chance to work side-by-side on an important project with her sexy new boss.

Playboy entrepreneur Landon Steele has built a successful PR firm and broken more than a few hearts along the way. He’s counting on his enthusiasticEl new assistant to help him expand his business into Los Angeles…until he discovers she’s a pampered rich girl who’s in the public spotlight as much as his famous clients. Still, he agrees to give her a chance, and soon the two are heating up the bedroom as well as the boardroom.

But when Skye’s ex-boyfriend threatens to reveal a dangerous secret from her past, her job, relationship with Landon, and her father’s career are suddenly all on the line. Will she be forced to leave Landon? Or will she pursue her heart, regardless of the cost?

**ARC provided by author for honest review. Thank you for the opportunity!**

Picture perfect was just that... Perfect. I loved every second of it and I kept reading. I needed to keep reading. I wasn't disappointed at all. I never read the first one in the series and being as this is a standalone if was fine. I loved the storyline.

Skye, our leading lady is dealing with a recent breakup when one of her best friends takes her out to get out of her funk. No one knows the details of her breakup and being the daughter of a politician she wants to keep it that way. She is beautiful, sophisticated and confident. I really liked that about her. While out with her friend she has a crazy encounter with a sexy and mysterious guy. Of course she can't get him out of her head and when he walks into her new job...

Landon is gorgeous, headstrong, determined and yes, sexy! He's worked his way to get to where he was. He made sure to stay true to his roots, be domineering when he had to be and also just be an all-around great guy! After a crazy night out and a girl that he can't forget, he heads to work.

Both realizing who the other was tantalizing and endearing. Of course they had to draw lines and not get involved. Neither could forget and neither wanted too.

There is so much sexual tension between the two that you can't help rooting for them to get it on! You slowly watch as these two realize that there is more than to it than that and when outside inference starts to really mess things up you want growl in anger.

Will they get their happily ever after? Will Skye's private life from her past ruin everything? Will Landon be able to truly give his heart to someone and settle down?

You'll just have to read and find out! This was one great book and it's definitely a series that I will revisit again and again!

Slammed by Colleen Hoover

Author: Colleen Hoover
Published: September 18th, 2012

From the #1 New York Times bestselling author of Hopeless and Losing Hope.
Falling in love can feel like poetry. Or it can feel like a slam to the heart.

Colleen Hoover’s romantic, emotion-packed debut novel unforgettably captures all the magic and confusion of first love, as two young people forge an unlikely bond before discovering that fate has other plans for them.

Following the unexpected death of her father, eighteen-year-old Layken becomes the rock for both her mother and younger brother. She appears resilient and tenacious, but inside, she's losing hope. Then she meets her new neighbor Will, a handsome twenty-one-year-old whose mere presence leaves her flustered and whose passion for poetry slams thrills her.

Not long after a heart-stopping first date during which each recognizes something profound and familiar in the other, they are slammed to the core when a shocking discovery brings their new relationship to a sudden halt. Daily interactions become impossibly painful as they struggle to find a balance between the feelings that pull them together and the forces that tear them apart. Only through the poetry they share are they able to speak the truth that is in their hearts and imagine a future where love is cause for celebration, not regret.

I really don't know what took me so long to read "Slammed" by Colleen Hoover. I haven't read all of her books, but the ones that I have read, sucked me in so far that I lost track of time. This book did just that. I couldn't tear my eyes away from the pages. I read this book in 4 ½ hrs. Seriously. Oh and did I mention that I cried during different parts throughout this whole book... Yep bawled like a baby too.

On the first meeting of Layken or Lake, she's leaving everything behind because of the death of her father. She resents her mother of course for making her pack up and leave. She is a funny, strong, independent 18 year old that takes everything that is being handed to her. When she arrives in Michigan, her new home, she immediately meets Will.

Before I got further... I do think their instant attraction was a bit rushed and would have liked more of a build of it... However we learn why that can't happen.

Will, the sexy neighbor instantly draws himself to Lake. The two had little choice especially when Kel, Lake's younger brother and Caulder, Will's younger brother hit it off immediately and become friends. They were inseparable throughout the book. With the instant attraction between Will and Lake I felt like we were going to get so much more than we did in the beginning... But we didn't. But that's okay!

Eddie, a girl in one of Lake's classes instantly befriends her and she is exactly what Lake needs. Eddie is a funny and crazy girl and I definitely was laughing whenever she was around. Lake's mom was simply amazing! She was the type of mom that was there for advice and wasn't needy or always on top of Lake. I think everyone would want a mom like her. She didn't over crowd and she was there when you needed her.

Their affection toward each other comes to a rough halt when certain things come to light. Would they be able to go on? Would they suffer? Would things ever be the same between the two? So many things hit home in this book. It was hard to read it without thinking of my Life. I highly recommend this book and I can't wait to read the next installment!
